Samsung Models dominate Highest Rated HDTVs

As of Feb 25, 2009, Samsung HDTV models occupy the top 10 highest rated HDTVs based on thousands of customer feedback from a top online retailer. Six of the top 10 are Samsung models including the top 5 highest rated HDTVs. Two Panasonic models made it to the exclusive list, along with two Sony HDTVs. The top 10 list is based on the average customer rating of an HDTV, and only includes in-stock models. Customers were asked to rate an HDTV from 1 to 5; with 5 being the highest.

It is interesting to note that in the top 10 list, only three HDTVs had starting prices that are less than $1,000. These are the Samsung LNT4071F 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV, Panasonic Viera TH-50PX80U 50-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV, and the Sony Bravia S-Series KDL-32S3000 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, rated 4th, 7th and 9th, respectively.
